Your experience is still in demand
Work that suits you
Are you 60 or over? Work a few fixed days a week or for periods. You choose what and where. We handle the pay.
How to get started
1
Tell us about yourself - What you have worked with and how much you want to work.
2
We have a chat - So we know which assignments you will enjoy.

3
You get offered assignments - You decide yes or no.
4
You work, we handle the rest - Your pay is paid out on the 1st of every month.
What you should know as a senior with us
Here are the answers to what seniors ask most often before they say yes. It costs nothing to sign up, and you are not tied to a set number of hours.
Pay under the collective agreement
Your hourly wage follows the collective agreement for the trade, including holiday pay and pension. Your pay is paid out on the 1st of every month.
Fixed days, not from one day to the next
Assignments are agreed with the companies in advance, typically fixed days a week or specific weeks. You will not get a call the evening before.
You decide
You choose what you want to work with and where. If you say no to an assignment, you will not be forgotten.
Employed by us per assignment
You are employed by Personale-huset for as long as the assignment lasts. You register your hours in our app, and we show you how it works.
Insurance and sickness

You are covered by the industrial injury insurance of the company you work for. If you fall ill, we follow the collective agreement and the rules for sickness benefit.
Remember your tax
Update your preliminary income assessment (forskudsopgørelse) on skat.dk when you start working, so you avoid back tax. If you receive state pension or disability pension, Udbetaling Danmark is notified automatically.
Pension paid out with your wage is on its way: We are working on a solution where you can have your pension contribution paid out together with your wage.
How much can you earn alongside your pension?
It depends on which benefit you receive. Here are the main rules for 2026. Always check your own situation before you say yes to an assignment. We are happy to help.
State pension: no limit on wages
Your wage is not deducted from your state pension, and your partner's wage does not count either. Other income above DKK 99,200 a year (single) can, however, reduce the pension supplement.
Disability pension: DKK 94,100 a year
Granted after 1 January 2003: same limits as senior pension, above that the pension is reduced by 30%. Talk to your municipality before taking on more work.
Early retirement (efterløn): unlimited, but with deductions
Every hour you work is normally deducted from your efterløn. If your hourly wage is below DKK 305.59, the deduction is smaller for the first DKK 47,233. Ask your a-kasse.
Early pension (tidlig pension): DKK 28,300 a year
You can earn DKK 28,300 a year without losing anything. Above that, the pension is reduced by 64% of what you earn. Do the maths before you say yes.
Senior pension: DKK 94,100 a year
As a single person you can earn DKK 94,100 a year before your pension is reduced by 30% of what you earn above that. For couples the limit is DKK 149,400.
Not sure?
Check your own situation with Udbetaling Danmark, your municipality or your a-kasse, or call us. The amounts are 2026 rates before tax and change every year.
Where you can use your experience
We have assignments in many trades. If your trade is not on the list, call us anyway.
